What Is Your Stretching Strategy?

As a dancer for 20 years, I have a strong understanding of movement and strength.

My unique perspective allows me to feel and create movements based on my own sensory experience.

Due to my background, I often get asked about stretching. Stretching may provide a temporary neurological response, but there is a better way to warm-up, cool down, and decompress.

Constant passive or static stretching can do more harm than good by misaligning joints.

If you find yourself holding onto chronic tension, you might need to look at your approach.

Learning how to breathe and position your body will make you stronger, save you time, and prevent pain and injury.
